On Saturday 14th March, Wakefield Music Services did Something Funny for Money by inviting all staff and students at Outwood, Osset, Central Area and Pontefract Music Centres to come to Music Centre to take part in a Crazy Hair Day to raise money for Comic Relief. Many students arrived with technicolor hair, wigs, hats, buns, pigtails, dreadlocks, mohicans and even the folically challenged staff got out the felt tips to take part! Some students provided biscuits to sell and it all provided an interesting slant to Saturday mornings!The total amount raised from all Music Centres was a whopping £404.00 - all of which has been sent to Comic Relief.
A big WELL DONE and THANK YOU goes to all the students and staff that got involved with their donations and alternative head dress!
