For the third time in succession, Wakefield Music Services has achieved a 100% pass rate for pupils taking Associated Board examinations with a very high rate of students gaining merits and distinctions. Here is a break-down of results for the last two sessions.
November 2004 (44 entries)
Pass (over 100) - 12 (27%)
Merit (over 120) - 19 (43%)
Distinction (over 130) - 13 (30%)
January 2005 (72 entries)
Pass - 16 (22%)
Merit - 36 (50%)
Distinction - 20 (28%)
These results are a credit to all those taking part in the examination process, both students and teachers and are a reflection of the very high standards being achieved by musicians across the district.
