Outwood Area Music Centre has always provided a friendly atmosphere that is safe and secure. In order to continue to maintain our high standards I would be grateful if you could please follow the directions listed below when dropping off and collecting your child, especially in difficult weather conditions.
• Please ensure that you use the car parking spaces provided in the main car park (to your right as you enter the site). Please do not use the Academy’s drop off point as this causes undue congestion at peak times.
• Please ensure that both yourself and your child use the pavements and avoid using the driveway as much as possible.
• Please meet your child at the entrance nearest to their rehearsal room.
• Please remind your child that they should remain in the school grounds until collected. (We cannot accept responsibility for children wandering off the campus).
• Please ensure that your child is aware of who is collecting them (Mum / Dad / Grandparents) and preferably ensure that they carry a contact telephone number.
• Please collect your child promptly after rehearsals.
• If your child wishes to leave early please provide the necessary information in writing to the teacher at the beginning of the rehearsal.
Should there be extreme weather, please listen to RIDINGS FM (106.8), as any closures will be announced on air.
Should Music Centre still be operating in poor weather, please take as much care as possible when entering and leaving the site.
