Every thing belongs to God so any wealth we have is held by us in trust.
A Muslim tries to give one fortieth of his or her wealth to the poor and needy.
The Prophet Muhammad was asked "What if a person has nothing and cannot work?"
The Prophet said "He should help the poor and needy. If he cannot even do that, he should encourage others to do good."
