How to make a ra'el

To show how special it is, a Qur'an is often placed on a stand called a ra'el. Follow these instructions to make a simple ra'el.

• Cut two pieces of very thick card 20cm x 30cm.

• Measure 16cm from the top and make a cut  12cm long in both pieces of card.

• Slot the cut part of one piece into the cut part of the other piece and ease as far as they will go.

• Open to stand.
