Our school serves an industrial community which stands between Knottingley and Pontefract in West Yorkshire.
We have an infant department and a nursery unit. The children transfer to Roundhill Junior School, which is on an adjacent site, at the age of seven.
The majority of children in our school will not have encountered any Muslims so will not have had any first hand experience of any part of their religion.
What follows outlines some of the planning, objectives and activities used.
