Conte provides us with our own personal ferry from Petersburg to Kake.
We share the front lounge with a young Japanese man. A professional photographer
perhaps, given the size of his telephoto lens.
He is excellent at spotting whales and as we travel along Frederick
Sound we are lucky enough to see a pod of around five or six
humpbacks travelling through the water towards us.
One of those very special moments in life that no photograph can ever really capture. |
