| Two plans have been proposed for a new visitor centre in Castleton to replace the existing small centre. Plan number NPHAK 0399029 would involve the conversion of an existing small industrial building into a large centre incorporating a retail outlet. Plan number NPHAK 0399032 is for a visitors centre which does not involve any retail venture. This would be situated on part of what is at present the main Castleton car park and approximately 25 car parking spaces would be lost.
