Amy knows a great deal about her local area and can talk about her pictorial map with confidence.  She knows her school is just across from the roundabout and near to the river.  She can identify different kinds of buildings along Wheldon Road (where she lives) and positions the buildings along the road side - not on the river side which is very accurate.  She identifies the location of the river with considerable accuracy and also knows where you can go to sit to look out over the river.  Amy knows there is a railway line that runs along the edge of the school field, but she does not know what happens after that point so the railway line stops at this point.
